Cabinet approves increase in salaries of lawmakers

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The federal cabinet has on Wednesday approved increase in salaries of all Members of the Parliament. Senate Chairman and National Assembly Speaker would withdraw salary worth Rs 2,50,000 while, the minister would be able to withdraw Rs 200,000 salary. The salaries of federal ministers has been increased from Rs 1,14,000 to Rs 200,000, while the salary of the minister of state has been increased from Rs 1,06,000 to Rs 180,000 and the salaries of members of the parliament has been raised from Rs 44000 to Rs 1,50,000.
