Cabinet withdraws inclusion of Qadianis in National Commission for Minorities

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The federal cabinet presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday withdrawn decision to include Qadianis in the National Commission for Minorities (NCM). The cabinet also approved gradually easing of the lockdown. The Ministry for Religious Affairs had presented the summary not to include the Qadianis in the National Commission for Minorities. The cabinet delayed the decision to print the notes without varnishing. The forum also decided to donate the one-month salary of Prime Minister Imran Khan and other cabinet members to the Corona relief Fund. Sources said that the prime minister had hinted at easing lockdown phase-wise from May 9. The cabinet was unanimous in ending the lockdown along with implementing the SOPs strictly. However, the final decision on the lockdown will be made in a couple of days. The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) will decide on easing the lockdown phase-wise. The cabinet also decided not to import 429 essential medicines from India. Sheikh Rasheed said that India has unleashing atrocities in Occupied Kashmir and trade cannot be done under these circumstances. The cabinet approved inclusion of 61 items in the Compulsory Certification Mark Scheme. In addition, the approval of the appointment of the WAPDA member finance was also granted during the meeting. The forum also endorsed the decisions made by the Legislative Committee on April 4. It also approved the agreement between Akhuwat Pakistan and Akhuwat USA to collect donations.
