Cake-cutting ceremonies held on 92 News' 6th anniversary in several cities

LAHORE/KARACHI (92 News) – Cake-cutting ceremonies were held on the 6th anniversary of 92 News, the first HD Plus channel, in several cities on Saturday.

After cutting the cake at Head Office, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said that 92 News team had given a new dimension and thought to journalism. "92 News did practically what it said. It represent the wishes of the people.

92 News Media Group Adviser Aslam Tareen, Group Editor Officer Osama Shams, Editor Forum Rana Azeem and Anchorperson Asadullah were also present.

In Lahore, traders held a ceremony at Azam Cloth Market Khyber Block. Anjuman-e-Tajran vice-president Muhammad Irfan Soni distributed sweets among traders. Anjuman-e-Tajran president Mujahid Maqsood Butt, LCCI Executive Member Muhammad Ali Afzal, Sheikh Allauddin were also present.

The Anjuman-e-Tajran office-bearers termed 92 News as the most favourite channel among the trader community. They congratulated 92 News team for practicing fearless journalism.

In Karachi, PML-F leader Muhammad Ali Durrani, PML-N leader Muhammad Zubair, Sindh Government Spokesman Murtaza Wahab and Sindh Minister for Communication Nasir Hussain Shah participated in the ceremony. They congratulated 92 News on the anniversary and appreciated its journalistic services.

In Faisalabad, PTI MNA Furrukh Habib, Raja Riaz Ahmed, Provincial Ministers Muhammad Ajmal Cheema and Khayal Castro attended the cake-cutting ceremony. The participants prayed for progress and success of 92 News.

Ceremonies were also held in Gujranwala, Gujrat, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Chichawatni, Kot Addu and Khairpur.
