Call to Prayer recited across country to get rid of coronavirus pandemic

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Call to Prayer (Azan) was recited across the country to get rid of coronavirus pandemic on Tuesday. Citizens recited call to prayer individually on their rooftops in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Chiniot on the appeal of Ulema. Earlier, Ulema had appealed to recite call to prayer. They said that worry vanishes from the place where call to prayer is recited. They urged the people to stay at home and adopt precautionary measures. “People should not take the epidemic as a joke. Staying at home, the people should pray frequently,” they added.
