Can't leave Karachi at mercy of provincial govt, says PM Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that they cannot leave Karachi atthe mercy of the provincial government.
Addressing a meeting of the PTI Parliamentary Party on Wednesday, he said that the work on the Karachi Transformation Plan is going on first time seriously. "We will fulfill our responsibility, no matter the provincial government supports us or not," he added.
The prime minister announced to give a grant of Rs 500 million to each parliamentarian from next year.
He expressed his indignation at Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, the Karachi PTI president, Saifullah Niazi and Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Abdul Hafeez Sheikh and his economic team.
PTI member Noor Alam Khan demanded accountability of the ministers.
