Candidate among seven killed in violence during LB polls in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
PESHAWAR (92 News) – Seven people, including a candidate, were killed while 20 others injured in violence during the local bodies elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday.
Three people were killed in a clash between two groups in Charsadda.
In DI Khan’s Parwa Tehsil, two people were killed in an exchange of fire between two groups.
Saifur Rahman Gujjar, a general councilor candidate, was killed in firing between two groups in Abbottabad’s Majohan Union Council.
A female candidate died of a cardiac arrest.
Meanwhile, 20 people were injured in separate incidents across the province.
