Candidates for teachers’ recruitment baton-charged in Bhimber

BHIMBER (92 News) – Police baton charged and tear-gassed the candidates for the teachers’ recruitment on Saturday.

Sources said that the candidates had resorted to hooliganism.

Former minister Ch Ashraf and PPP leader Waheed Akram also received minor injuries.

The adhoc teachers were protesting for regularization. The protest suddenly turned violent, forcing the police to use the force.
