LAHORE (92 News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that the action against BRT and Malam Jabba they cannot take action against the BRT and Malam Jabba scams due to the stay orders. Addressing a ceremony on Monday, he said that the wrongdoer whether he is from the government or opposition will have to pay the price. “The wind is about to change and the people will feel it in a few weeks,” he added. He said that each person being questioned about corruption says revenge is being taken against him. “Those making huge money are now getting bails. They are either in jails or have gone abroad.” The NAB chief asked the ministers to avoid predictions. “The credit of the return of Rs39 billion from abroad goes to the NAB,” he said. He said that innumerable people were involved in money laundering amounting to billions of people. “There is no benefit in criticizing the NAB chief. The critics should strengthen their defence,” he added. Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said that the NAB respects each bureaucrat, but will definitely ask about the wastage of the public money. “Properties were purchased in Dubai and London through the money which should have been spent on the masses,” he maintained. He said that he was being accused of having nexus with the government. “The NAB has only nexus with Pakistan,” he added. The NAB chairman said that the credit of the beautiful dream of the State of Madina goes to the government.
