Cantonment Boards elections: PML-N becomes Punjab's biggest party with 48 seats

LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) became the biggest party in Punjab with 48 seats in the Cantonment Boards elections.

In Lahore, the PML-N won 15 seats, out of total 19 wards. The PTI won three seats, while an independent candidate also emerged victorious.

Meanwhile, PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the party leaders, office-bearers and the people on victory in the Cantonment Boards elections. "People of Punjab have rejected those snatching the progress of people through the power of the vote," he added.

On the other hand, PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz phoned Khawaja Saad Rafique on the victory.
