Cap (r) Safdar booked in sedition case over using threatening words against state
GUJRANWALA (92 News) - The Punjab police booked Captain (retired) Safdar and other PML-N leaders in a sedition case over using provocative and threatening words against state on Sunday.
According to the details garnered, a case was registered in Gujranwala's Satellite Town Police Station against Safdar and other PML-N leaders. The complaint states that Safdar used these words during a meeting of the party leaders at PML-N MPA Imran Khalid Butt's house.
The case was registered against the PML-N leaders for to inciting people and using derogative remarks against the national institutions.
It is pertinent to mention here that PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz had announced that the party will hold a rally in Gujranwala on October 16.
