Captain (r) Safdar shifted Adiala to PIMS after health complication

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law Captain (r) Safdar was shifted to PIMS Hospital from Adiala jail after healthcomplications. Cap Safdar was taken to the hospital under strict security arrangements in armored vehicle. The police deployed around the PIMS hospital to avoid any untoward situation. Safdar is suffering from stomach ulcers and doctors have performed two operations on his stomach. Earlier today, members of Sharif family including PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and political leaders called on imprisoned Nawaz Sharif, his political heir-apparent Maryam Safdar and son-in-law Capt (r) Safdar at Adiala Jail today. On July 6, Nawaz, Maryam and Safdar have been handed over 11-year jail sentence, 7-year jail sentence and 1-year jail respectively by an accountability court in Avenfield reference.
