Caretaker CM inspects development projects in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inspected the progress on Walton Road and ADA drain remodelling and upgradation, Cavalry underpass and Centre Point to Walton Road CBD Punjab Quaid District projects and expressed his satisfaction with the drainage of sewage water on Walton Road.

He directed measures for the smooth flow of traffic during the development work, saying that the projects should be completed without delay.

He inspected the construction work of the Cavalry underpass and ordered to complete the asphalt work on side roads soon. He further directed the contractor to speed up the work to complete it within four days. He also inspected the Lahore Central Business District Development Authority and directed to planting of more trees around the project.

The CM gave a deadline for the completion of the asphalt work from the Centerpoint to Walton in the first 10 days of December adding that the project should be completed by the end of December in any case.

Meanwhile, CM Mohsin Naqvi conducted an extensive visit to the 'Mini Aitchison' Divisional Public School in Gujranwala, meticulously examining the educational and sports facilities for both boys and girls.

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, during his visit, announced the construction of 24 new classrooms at DPS. He directed the Commissioner of Gujranwala to organize an additional 50 modern computers for the computer lab.

On the other hand, Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi conducted an impromptu visit to the Police Service Center in Liberty. The center witnessed a significant influx of citizens, with some expressing grievances about prolonged processing delays, enduring waits of up to 4 hours.
