Caretaker FM Jilani, US Senior Policy Adviser Derek Chollet discuss bilateral relations

NEW YORK (92 News) - Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani called on US Senior Policy Adviser Derek Chollet on the sidelines of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, they discussed Pak-US relations, Afghan situation and matters of mutual interest.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani met his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov and discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Both sides reviewed progress made during 5th round of Bilateral Political Consultations held in Islamabad in June 2023.

On the other hand, Caretaker FM Jalil Abbas Jilani met European Union Foreign Policy Official Joseph Burrell. They discussed bilateral relations and overall regional and international situation.
