Caretaker govt increases fuel prices by Rs 4.26 per litre

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The caretaker government on Monday has increased fuel prices by Rs 4.26 per litre on the recommendations of OGRA for the month of June. As per details garnered, the new price for petrol has increased by Rs4.26 and the revised price of petrol would be Rs91.96 per litre. The price of diesel has been increased by Rs6.55, while the price of light diesel has also been increased by Rs6.14. The new price of diesel, light diesel would be 105.31 and 77.99 rupees per litre respectively. The government also increased the price of kerosene oil by Rs4.46 per litre. The new price would be Rs84.34 per litre. The revised prices will take effect from June 12. Earlier, the PML-N government decided to keep the petroleum prices unchanged till June 07, leaving the decision of changing the prices on incoming caretaker government. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) recommended an increase of Rs 8.37 in petrol price for the month of June.
