Caretaker PM Anwaarul Haq Kakar likely to form cabinet this week: sources

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has completed consultation and he is likely to form the cabinet this week.

Sources said that impartial personalities are likely to be included in the cabinet. Two bureaucrats and as many technocrats are being considered for the slots of ministers who will be given the special tasks.

They said that Dr Waqar Masood is being considered for the slot of the finance minister. "Muhammad Ali and Shahid Afridi are likely to get the portfolios of Energy and Inter-Provincial Coordination.

The sources said that a 16-member cabinet, including Zulfiqar Cheema, Gohar Ijaz, Shoaib Suddle and Sarfraz Bugti, would be announced shortly.
