Caretaker PM Kakar urges youths to play their role in national progress

LAHORE (92 News) - Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar has said that the youths are the future of the country and they should play their role in the national progress.

Talking to students on Tuesday, he said that a reduction in the tax rate was a big challenge. "About Rs10 billion taxes are being stolen in the country. There is a huge difference between national income and expenditures. We have to improve our governance system," he declared.

The PM said that Pakistan informed the world that 1.5 billion Muslims are perturbed at Israeli atrocities on Palestinians. "We cancelled the New Year celebrations in protest against the ongoing Israeli barbarism in Palestine," he added.

Later, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar left Lahore for Islamabad.

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi bid him farewell at the airport.

The PM said that the Punjab chief minister has set a high example of public service." Everyone recognizes the performance of Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi. The Punjab CM completed the welfare projects of the people with extraordinary speed," he added.

Chief Secretary Punjab Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Inspector General of Police Dr Usman Anwar, CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana, Commissioner Lahore Division Muhammad Ali Randhawa and senior officials were also present on the occasion.
