LAHORE (92 News) - A case has been registered against Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz, party leaders and workers in Chohang police station over violent clash outside the NAB Lahore office. According to the details garnered, the case was filed on the complaint of NAB against the attack on its office. The prominent leaders of PML-N Rana Sanaullah, Pervez Rashid, Muhammad Safdar, Talal Chaudhry, Muhammad Zubair, Daniyal Aziz, Yasin Sohal, Javed Latif, Bilal Yasin and Imran Nazir including Maryam Nawaz have been nominated in the first information report (FIR).  The case includes sections of 353, 427, 148 and 16 MPOs. On the other hand, arrested 58 PML-N workers including MPA Adnan Farid sent to prison on 14-day judicial remand. Yesterday, the NAB has decided to lodge an FIR against the PML-N leaders and workers for stone-pelting police personnel and damaging public property. According to the press release of the bureau, they have decided to register an FIR against the illegal actions and interference in government affairs against the PML-N’s party leaders as well as workers. The press release also stated that N-League workers showed systematic hooliganism and pelted stones on the police personnel. “For the first time in the 20-year history of the NAB, a constitutional and national body was treated in this manner,” it added. On the other hand, PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, has accused the NAB of attacking her. Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he said that the government had failed at the political and economic fronts. “How did India dare to the change the status of Kashmir? The GDP growth has first time been witnessed negative,” she said. She said that the narrative of the PML-N is ‘Vote Ko Izzat Do’ (give respect to vote). “I was made hostage. It is easy to speak and difficult to be silent. We exposed the government by remaining silent. ,” she said. Maryam Nawaz said that the government had not sent Nawaz Sharif abroad on humanitarian grounds, but to protect itself. “The rulers are afraid and say they got only six months,” she maintained.
