LAHORE (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has predicted that the cases against former president Asif Zardari will end soon and he will go abroad in four months. Addressing a press conference at Railways Headquarters on Saturday, he said that shareholders of the former president will start plea bargain in a few days. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had decided to send former prime minister Nawaz Sharif abroad on humanitarian grounds. “Those who wanted to utilize the politics of Fazlur Rehman have achieved their objective,” he said. “There are some diseases which cannot be cured in Pakistan,” he said. The minister said that the politics of the PPP and the PML-N is going to change. “Fazlur Rehman has made the demand more than his stature. He should not leave the poor workers at the mercy of harsh weather,” he said. About the Tezgam tragedy, Sheikh Rasheed said that the DNA tests of all victims had been completed. “In all, 19 officers have been suspended. The police have been given special powers,” he said. He said that 126 accounts of people like Khurshid Shah have been traced. “The cases of Asif Zardari, Hamza Shehbaz, Salman Shehbaz and Khurshid Shah are very serious,” he said. He said that the Indian Supreme Court had selected this day for the verdict on the Babari Mosque row. “India has laid the foundation of its disintegration. It has dug its geographical grave,” he said.
