ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed has said that the cases included in the list of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) presented to the Supreme Court were registered during the rule of former dictator Pervez Musharraf. Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that the cases were registered to take political revenge. “Allegations against the PML-N leaders could not be proved even in a single case. After the cases, elections were held twice and the masses voted for the PML-N,” he maintained. The minister said that the objective of the cases was to get benefit politically. “The purpose of baseless cases was to damage credibility of the PML-N.” He claimed that the dictator had registered the cases after overthrowing the public government in 1999 to purchase loyalties.
