LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has on Friday challenged Cyber Crime Act in Lahore High Court (LHC). PTI’s Zubair Khan Niazi’s lawyer Sheraz Zaka filed a petition in the LHC, in which he raised a legal point that Cyber Crime Act wasn’t approved by the federal cabinet. The applicant further said that Cyber Crime Act (CCA) is a violation of Article 19 of the constitution. The applicant accused that the aim of the Act is to set conditions on free speech. The applicant plead the court declare Cyber Crime Act (CCA) null and void.
