CCI postpones approval of OGRA Amendment Ordinance on Sindh's reservations

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah also expressed his reservations on the NEPRA Amendment Bill.

Sources said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had directed Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Petroleum Nadeem Babar to remove the reservations on both bills.

The council also deliberated upon the recommendations of the attorney general on the water distribution agreement inked in 1991. It also discussed in detail the import and price of LNG.

It could not make any decision regarding issuance of the census results.

The council decided to introduce a five-year plan to overcome food shortage among children at a cost of Rs 350 billion.

The next meeting of the CII will be held in January next year.
