Ceasefire on LoC in interest of Pakistan, India: Shah Mahmood

MULTAN (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) is in the interest of both countries – Pakistan and India. Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that solution to Pak-India disputes lies in dialogues. “Both countries face several issues, including poverty. They can resolve the Kashmir dispute only through dialogues,” he said. Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that both countries are facing the water issue due to climatic changes. He said that Indian intellectuals think that India should review its policy. “The task of a leader is to face challenges and find out their resolution,” he said. The minister said that the Europeans had to come at the table for dialogues after two wars. “Enemy countries in Europe did trade and opened the borders,” he maintained.
