Pak Army is organized force, has complete accountability system: DG ISPR
RAWALPINDI (92 News) – DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor has said that there is discipline, chain and command in the Pak Army.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he said that a branch monitors discipline in the Pak Army.
He said that the Pak Army is an organized force and has a complete system of accountability. “About 400 officers were penalized for different violations. The penalized officers include officers of all ranks. An officer is sent home corruption of Rs 10,000 and for going on leave without permission,” he said.
Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that Pakistan was created in the name of Islam. “India terms itself a secular state. Does it a secular state? India should first itself a secular country and then talk about Pakistan,” he said.
The DG ISPR questioned whether minorities are safe in India. “The Babari Mosque issue is sufficient to expose India.”
He said that the minorities and their worship places are safe in Pakistan.
The DG ISPR said that enemies benefitted from provocation in the name of religion. “We should strive to improve law and order, economy, healthcare and education. There is need to improve oneself first,” he observed.
He said that ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) have increased during last two years.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he said that the Indian media is giving a negative colour to the Kartarpur corridor.
The DG ISPR said that terrorist incidents have decreased in Balochistan. “The Farraris are surrendering and joining the national mainstream in Balochistan,” he maintained. “The law and order has improved in Balochistan as compared to the past.”
He lauded the sacrifices of the Rangers for restoring peace in Karachi. “Terrorist incidents have decreased in the country.”
DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that Afghanistan has no control of its border and adjoining areas. “The TTP force is sitting in Afghanistan,” he claimed.
He said that 4,000 cases of missing persons, out of total 7,000, have been resolved.
The DG ISPPR said that the state had fully cooperated in the justified demands of the Pakhtoon Tahffuz Movement (PTM). “The PTM should not cross the line to the extent that the state should control the situation by force,” he warned.
