Ceasefire violations: Indian deputy high commissioner summoned to lodge protest

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan on Friday summoned India's Deputy High Commissioner here and lodged a protest over killing of three Pakistani civilians in an unprovoked firing by Indian troops across the Line of Contril (LoC) and Working Boundary. At least three civilians have been killed due to unprovoked ceasefire violations by Indian troops in the last 24 hours. Pakistan summoned Deputy High Commissioner J P Singh to the Foreign Office and recorded the protest against the killings. “Pakistan has expressed its deep concern at the continuous unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian security forces and the intentional targeting of innocent civilians, which is high condemnable.”
