Cement dealers continue countrywide strike for second day

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Cement dealers continued the countrywide strike against the withholding tax for the second consecutive day on Monday.

Owing to the strike, the dealers did not purchased cement from dealers. As a result, the retailers are running short of the stock.

The dealers demanded the government immediately withdraw the withholding tax. “We cannot continue our business while becoming a withholding agent,” he added.

They said that they would continue their strike till fulfilment of their demands.
