Ceremonies mark 139th birthday of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Ceremonies were held across the country to mark the 139th birthday of founding father Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on Friday.

Guards were changed at the mausoleum of the Quaid-e-Azam.

President Mamnoon Hussain and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah placed floral wreathes at the grave of the Quaid-e-Azam.

In their messages, President Mamnoon Hussain said that days of despair and frustration had passed and fate of the country was bright. He added that the nation in particular, the new generation and people belonging to education sector should effectively fulfill their responsibilities and obligations.

Addressing the teachers and students of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s Alma Mater, the Sindh Madrassatul Islam University (SMIU) at State Guest House, he said that education was his first and foremost priority so that the new generation could be guided about their obligations so that they could lead the country in future. He said that the future of the country was in the hands of the new generation.
