Ceremonies mark first anniversary of 92 News at Lahore Head Office, bureau offices

LAHORE (92 News) – Ceremonies were held on the first launching anniversary of 92 News at the Lahore Head Office and bureau offices across the country.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, former President Asif Ali Zardari Federal Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid and DG ISPR Asim Saleem Bajwa congratulated 92 News on its first anniversary.

At Lahore Head Office, chief security guard Subedar Naseer cut the cake.

Awards were given to Director News Mian Tahir, Osama Shamas, Ahmed Nawaz, Sobia Cheema and Imran Ahmed for playing a key role in the launching of the channel.

Anchorpersons Tariq Mateen, Iqra Haris and Asma Shirazi, reporters Mujahid Sheikh from Lahore, Mian Shahid from Islamabad, Hassam Ahmed from Faisalabad, Shah Waliullah from Karachi, Kafaytullah from Quetta and Alamgir Khan from Peshawar were also awarded the awards.

Hafiz Anwaar, Mian Masood and Kashif Abbas were also decorated with awards.

Analyst Brig (retd) Farooq Nazir Ghazi, Former Governor LT-Gen Khalid Maqbool, Ajmal Niazi, Barrister Mubeen Rana and PML-N leader Khawaja Ahmed Hassan also participated in the ceremony.

They congratulated 92 News on its first anniversary.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid cut a cake in Islamabad.

Speaking on the occasion, he congratulated 92 News on its great successes in the shortest period.

Pervaiz Rashid in Islamabad, Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad in Karachi, Khyber Pakhrtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mehtab Abbasi and Abid Sher in Faisalabad were the chief guests.
