ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Ch Nisar has announced a new inquiry into the Khanan and Kalia case.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he said that bureaucrats, politicians, traders and banks are involved in the Khanan & Kalia case. “We have written letters to the UAE and the US and will write a letter to the UK as well,” he said.

The minister said that no foreigner could visit Pakistan without documents. “Politics is being done on the CNICs issue,” he said.

Ch Nisar said that the Dawn leaks report would be made public in two-four days. “The missing of people is unacceptable at all costs.”

He announced conditional restoration of 178,000 CNICs, saying that all people will have to prove their Pakistani citizenship within 60 days.

“Pakistani citizenship was sold for a few rupees during the last periods,” he said. “Pakistani CNIC and passport should not be with those who are not Pakistanis.”

The minister said that the issuance of CNICs and passport to foreigners is a crime.
