Ch Nisar orders to complete CNIC verification process in stipulated time

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Ch Nisar has ordered to complete the CNIC verification process in the stipulated period. Addressing a meeting on Wednesday, he said that negligence in the CNIC verification process would not be tolerated. He asked the NADRA officials to utilize all resources in the minimum period. “Time should be kept in mind while sending SMS’ to the people,” he added. The minister said that the arrest of people wanted in heinous crimes should be ensured. He said that overseas Pakistanis should also avail the opportunity of online renewal of their passports. Ch Nisar said that the weekly report with regard to the Safe City should be submitted. The NADRA chairman briefed the minister about the campaign for the CNIC verification process. He said that the FIA, police and ANF had provided the record of 7,678 wanted people. The DG Immigration also briefed the meeting about online renewal of the passport.
