ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Ch Nisar has said that other options will be considered if the Rangers not granted powers in interior Sindh. Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that 20.024 million computerized national identity cards (CNICs) had been verified. “An important meeting on the National Action Plan (NAP) will be held next week. Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and heads of intelligence agencies will participate in the meeting,” he added. The minister said that there was need to support and give confidence to security agencies. He said the people possessing fake CNICs would be arrested. “Pakistan’s fake passports are a threat to national security. We have information that several people, including Mullah Mansour, had fake CNICs,” he said. Ch Nisar said that Rangers should not be made a political football. He urged the masses to support the government in expelling foreigners staying in Pakistan illegally.
