Ch Parvez Elahi thinks that govt should continue for some time, says Imran Khan

LAHORE (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has said that Punjab CM Chaudahry Parvez Elahi thinks that the government should continue for some time.

In a statement on Saturday, he said that there was no such thing that Parvaiz Elahi will be the chief minister after the next election.

"Beneral (retired) Bajwa had asked me to remove then Punjab CM Usman Buzdar. The demand was strange because the army chief is under the prime minister. General Bajwa used to ask me to appoint Aleem Khan as Punjab CM. I told him that there are cases against Aleem Khan," he added.

The PTI chairman said that Chaudhary Parvez Elahi had also stated he would not vote for Aleem Khan.

He said that the assemblies will be dissolved in December. "I have never taken Rana Sanaullah's words serious as he is a criminal.
