Ch Pervaiz Elahi asks nation to prepare for elections
LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab former chief minister Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi has asked the people to prepare for the elections as they will have to defeat the corrupt coterie.
Talking to the media on Saturday, he said that the victory of Imran Khan is sure from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. "There should be no delay in the electoral process after the verdict of the Lahore High Court," he maintained.
The former CM said that revenge will be taken from Shehbaz Sharif who destroyed the economy through the power of the vote. "The PML-N has not yet learnt a lesson. It has again turned the country into a hub of revengeful activities," he added.
On the other hand, Punjab Assembly Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti's wife has filed a petition against the Racecourse police for harassing her. The court has issued the notice to the Lahore CCPO and Racecourse SHO, demanding a reply till February 17.
Meanwhile, protest rallies were taken out against illegal detention of Muhammad Khan Bhatti in Mandi Bahauddin and Gojra.
