Ch Pervaiz Elahi meets Fazlur Rehman to end deadlock over Azadi March talks

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi met JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in an attempt to end deadlock on the Azadi March talks over Wednesday. JUI-F secretary general Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri and Senator Talha Mahmood welcomed Ch Pervaiz Elahi. It is his third meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman during the last 36 hours. Sources in the government said that the Chaudhry brothers will be successful in convincing Maulana Fazlur Rehman to end the sit-in. Ch Pervaiz Elahi told 92 News that positive development is being made in the talks and several matters are being discussed. “There is need for patience and work hard,” he said. “We are working hard to take the matter to the logical end in a positive manner.” He said that their objective will be successful, but it will take time.
