LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhry Sarwar took the oath as Punjab governor at Governor’s House on Wednesday.
LHC Chief Justice Yawar Ali administered the oath to the newly-appointed governor.
Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, DG Rangers Maj Gen Azhar Naveed Hayat, Central Air Command Air Vice Marshall Irfan Ahmed, Station Commander Pakistan Navy Lahore Commodore Naimatullah, IGP Punjab Kaleem Imam, Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Dost Mazari, Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed, Ch Zaheeruddin, Asif Nakai, provincial minister Rashid Hafeez, Yasir Humayun, Sibtain Khan, MPAs Saadia Sohail Rana, Muavia Azam Tariq, Manzoor Wattoo, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Khurram Jahangir Wattoo, Mian Imran Masood and Ayesha Chaudhry were also present in the meeting.
After the oath-taking ceremony, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar congratulated Ch Sarwar on assuming the charge as Punjab governor.
Later, the guests were served with tea and biscuits.
