Ch Sarwar to take oath as new Punjab governor today

LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhry Sarwar will take oath as Punjab governor on Wednesday (today). The governor will take oath at 6pm. Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) justice will administer the oath to the new Punjab governor. The oath-taking ceremony of the governors was earlier postponed due to the presidential election taking place in the country. Sarwar previously served as the Punjab governor during Pakistan Muslim League-N government in 2013. However, he resigned in 2015, before joining PTI, citing 'he was not successful in solving the problems of people'.
