Ch Sugar Mills case: Hamza Shehbaz’s judicial remand extended till Jan 7

LAHORE (92 News) – The accountability court extended the judicial remand of Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz till January 7. The court approved Shehbaz Sharif’s application for exemption from appearance. The court also ordered the witnesses to record their statements on the next hearing. On the other hand, the court extended the judicial remand of Khawaja brothers for 14 days in the Paragon scandal. Earlier, the LHC issued notice to the NAB on the bail plea of Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz for January 13. Justice Ali Baqar Najafi questioned Hamza Shehbaz’s lawyers whether they had taken instructions from Hamza Shehbaz who had expressed his no-confidence in the bench. They replied that they had full confidence in the bench.
