ISLAMABAD (92 News) –The Chaman border crossing between Pakistan and Afghanistan reopened after around 13 days after Afghan protesters burned Pakistani flag. Afghanistan has apologized over the agitation of Afghan protesters. Previously, the Chaman border crossing was closed after Afghan protesters burned Pakistani flag. Hundreds of people and containers-mounted trailers stood at the Pak-Afghan border in Chaman and trade activities remain suspended for the last 11 days. The closing of the border has resulted in huge financial losses to traders and businessmen from both countries. The NATO supplies and cross-border trade between Islamabad and Kabul had also been suspended. Hundreds of Afghans had gathered near the Chaman border crossing and chanted anti-Pakistan slogans. The protesters carrying placards and banners that had slogans against Pakistan, they bombarded the Gate with stones.
