Change of guard ceremony held at Quaid, Iqbal mausoleum

LAHORE (92 News) – A prestigious change of guard ceremony was held here on Tuesday at mausoleum of at Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi and Dr Allama Iqbal mausoleum. Cadets of Pakistan Navy took charge of their duties at the Mazar-e-Quiad. Commandant Pakistan Naval Academy Commodore Waqar Muhammad was the chief guest at the ceremony. Honorary guards consist of best sailors of Pakistan Navy. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army assumed the guard duties at the Mazar-e-Iqbal. Marching to the band tunes, the contingent of Pak Army took positions at the four corners of the Mazar. Simultaneously, Rangers were ceremoniously moved out by the officer-in-charge. The ceremonial guard mounting was followed by floral wreath laying at the Mazar of Quid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal. It was also offered Fateha.
