Chaudhary brothers announce to stand with PM Imran Khan firmly

LAHORE (92 News) – The Chaudhary brothers have announced to stand with Prime Minister Imran Khan firmly, said sources privy to their meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan.

"Shehbaz Sharif has considered us after 14 years. We have told Shehbaz Sharif that if he could not remove Imran Khan, he would be on the mountain and we will be buried. What is the use of such a move which has no chance of success," they said.

They said that they will do politics with the prime minister. "The words about the no-confidence motion are just a fiction. The prime minister had taken us into confidence over his tour to China and Russia. Several people were advising the prime minister not to visit Russia. But we told the prime minister it would be inappropriate to cancel the tour," they confided.

During the meeting, PML-Q president Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain advised the prime minister to control inflation as it is a public issue.

Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he had reduced the petrol and electricity rates. "I would have given much more relief, if possible, to the masses. I know about the problems of the masses," he added.

During the 45-minute meeting, PM Imran Khan also inquired after the health of Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain. He also discussed political situation and matters of mutual interest. Several federal ministers and Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar also accompanied him.
