Chaudhry Parvez Elahi appointed as PTI president

LAHORE (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has appointed Punjab former chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi as party president.

The notification in this regard was issued on Tuesday.

Fawad Chaudhry presented a copy of the notification to Parvaiz Elahi on behalf of Imran Khan. Chaudhry Parvaiz Elahi thanked Imran Khan, saying that he is grateful for the trust given by Imran Khan. "I will stand with Imran Khan and fight for the rule of the constitution and law," he added.

He said that Imran Khan is fighting for the constitution, law and the common man in the country. "The government cannot stop Imran Khan who is living in the hearts of the people," he declared.

A few days back, former chief minister Chaudhary Parvaiz Elahi had left the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) and joined the PTI.
