Cheap language being used on some channels, social media: Fawad Chaudhary

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary has said that the cheap language is being used on some channels and social media.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that there is need for stringent steps to control this trend. "The cabinet has directed the Law Ministry to form stringent laws in this regard. The report on repatriation of citizens between Pakistan and the United Kingdom was presented in the meeting," he added.

The minister said that recommendations would be presented to Britain. "The petroleum prices will be increased."

Fawad Chaudhary said that the government thinks that the use of electronic voting machine is mandatory. "The ECP should issue tenders for the elections and purchase the EVM," he added.

He said that the government had purchased the vaccine worth US$250 million and administered the people free of cost.

The minister said that the cabinet had approved Digital Cloud Policy. "The cabinet also approved a judicial system for the overseas Pakistanis whose cases will be heard through the summary trial. The National Health Information Resource Center (NHIRC) has been dissolved," he maintained.
