Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed urges bar councils to provide training to lawyers
LAHORE (92 News) – Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed has urged the bar councils to provide training to lawyers.
Addressing a ceremony of the Punjab Bar Council on Saturday, he said that the lawyer's job is tell the court about the law and present proofs and arguments in court.
"Some lawyers misbehave with judges instead of assisting the court," he added.
The chief justice said that lawyers and judges could not go against each other as a house can be protected jointly.
"Basic rights of each citizen should be protected. The situation of subordinate courts is very bad. The government should pay attention to the subordinate courts," he said.
