Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif vows to eliminate evil business of fake medicines

LAHORE (92 News) – Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has vowed to end the evil business of fake medicines. Addressing a high-level meeting through video link at Civil Secretariat on Thursday, he said that the factories manufacturing fake medicines are slaughterhouses. “The people running these slaughterhouses deserve stern punishment,” he said. The chief minister said that the interest of people in Punjab was dear to him. “Punishments have been made severe to eliminate fake medicines. The manufacturing of medicines without a license is a big crime,” he said. The Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Association office-bearers and high-level officials were also present.
