Child kidnappings report submitted in SC

LAHORE (92 News) – Police have on Thursday submitted a report in Supreme Court regarding the kidnappings of children. According to the report submitted in the apex court, 1,800 children have been kidnapped from 2015 to July 2016, 1,093 kids have been recovered. During the proceedings, the court remarked that the parents of the abducted kids forced to visit police stations again and again but the police do not register case. The court further remarked that the judiciary will have to interfere if the state failed protect the people. Supreme Court had taken notice of the alarming increase in child kidnapping and ransom cases in Punjab. Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar had summoned IG Punjab Mushtaq Sukhera and ordered to give a detailed report on issue.
