China-cutting, extortion gifts of Musharraf regime, says Sharjeel Memon

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon has said that china-cutting, extortion money, sacrificial animal’s hides, etc, emerged during the tenure of former president Gen Pervez Musharraf on Thursday. In response to the facts revealed by DG Rangers Sindh Maj-Gen Bilal Akbar, Sharjeel Memon said the Sindh government is using its powers to eradicate such crimes. He said he has himself demolished a number of illegal marriage halls and hydrants. The minister said that the provincial government will not support any criminal. “The crimes mentioned by the DG Rangers in his report are 15-20 years old,” Sharjeel said. He said that it is the duty of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and Customs authorities to stop the smuggling of Iranian diesel.
