China foils India's attempt in UN seeking sanctions against Pakistan over Lakhvi release

UNITED NATIONS – China has foiled India's move in the United Nations demanding sanctions against Pakistan over release of Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, reported 92 News. As the UN sanctions committee met on India's request, the Chinese representatives blocked the move on grounds that India did not provide sufficient information against Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi. India had presented the resolution calling for sanctions against Pakistan over Lakhvi’s release from court.
