China fully supporting Pakistan in difficult time: NDMA chairman

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Chairman Lt Gen Muhammad Afzal has said that China is fully supporting Pakistan in difficult time. Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he said that 100,000 masks will reach Pakistan from China on Wednesday. “On Thursday, 50,000 kits will be available in the country,” he added. The NDMA chairman said that they are providing all-out facilities to the private sector to import medical equipment. “We will open the border for one day for the provision of luggage from China,” he added. Federal Minister for National Food Security Khusru Bakhtiar said that 80,000 tons of stock of ghee was available in the country. “The prices of pulses are reducing in the international market. The pulse rates will reduce in April. There will be no shortage of vegetables and chicken in the country,” he said. The minister added that they had purchased four million tons of wheat last year and would purchase 8.2 million wheat this year.
