China is confident of overcoming coronavirus, says Foreign Ministry Deputy DG

BEIJING (92 News) – Chinese Foreign Ministry Deputy Director General on South Asian Affairs Yao Wen has said that China is confident of overcoming coronavirus. Addressing a joint press conference along with Pakistani Ambassador Naghmana Hashmi on Saturday, he said that Pakistan is their iron brother in the real sense. “We are thankful to China to support us in difficult times,” he said. “China is capable, resolute and confident of overcoming the coronavirus. It took unusual steps to stop the epidemic.” Pakistan Ambassador Naghmana Hashmi said that China had proved with its courage and resolve that they can overcome the virus. She also informed the participants about the facilities being provided to Pakistanis in China. “Pakistan is standing with China like a true brother. We are in contact will all universities, including Wuhan, over the issue of Pakistanis,” she added. Naghmana Hasmhi said that Pakistani students should follow the Chinese procedure with a high morale. Later, Pakistani students discussed the matter with the Chinese Foreign Ministry authorities.
