China backs US president's conciliation offer on Kashmir dispute

BEIJING (92 News) - China has said it backs the mediation offered by US president Donald Trump to resolve Kashmir dispute between Pakistan and India. Chinese foreign office further says it supports the constructive role of global community including the United States for bringing improvement in Pakistan-India relations through dialogue. In a regular news briefing in Beijing, the Chinese Foreign Office spokesperson hoped the two countries can peacefully settle the Kashmir issue and other bilateral disputes through dialogue and make concerted efforts to safeguard peace and stability in South Asia. The spokesperson said being neighbor to Pakistan and India, China sincerely hopes that the two states can live in peace and harmony.
