ISLAMABAD: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz have agreed to end terrorism and increase bilateral cooperation, 92 News reported on Thursday. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that it is our top priority to boost ties with Pakistan in different sectors. He said that Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Pakistan soon. Cooperation in economic and security affairs is very important between both countries, he added. Wang Yi said that China is cooperating with Pakistan in the fields of energy, security and infrastructure. He expressed his wish to boost people-to-people contact as well. “The financially strongly Pakistan is in the interests of China.” Sartaj Aziz said that consensus has been reached to boost cooperation in bilateral affairs. Both the countries also want to increase cooperation in security affairs for establishment of peace in the region.
